Varivo ("Varivo", "we", "us") operates an on-demand laundry and dry-cleaning service in Guwahati through the Varivo app and website. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — your name and mobile number, verified by OTP at sign-in.
• Location — your pickup/delivery address, and, with your permission, your device location to set your pickup point. You can decline and enter the address manually.
• Order information — the services you choose, the garments in your order, item photos taken at pickup, special instructions, and order history.
• Payment information — payments are processed by our payment partner. We receive confirmation of payment but do not store your full card or bank details.
• Device & usage data — basic app/device information and notifications tokens used to keep your orders updated.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the service — schedule pickups, process and deliver your laundry, and keep you updated stage by stage.
• To assign the nearest hub and a rider, and to enable order tracking.
• To process payments and send receipts.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To send order and account notifications (and, only with your consent, offers).
• To improve our service and for safety, fraud prevention and legal compliance.

3. Sharing your information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• With riders and hub staff to collect, process and deliver your order.
• With our payment gateway, SMS/notification and maps providers to enable payments, OTP, alerts and location.
• With authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your account (see below).

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

6. Your choices & rights

• Access or correct your account details in the app.
• Turn location permission on or off in your device settings.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Children

Varivo is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
